Wow 20 years since Jefferson! No wonder why I am having a hard time remembering things from high school.
After Jefferson I went to Kirkwood and then graduated from Iowa in 1994. I loved living in Iowa City but, Cedar Rapids is where home is. I have worked for Mercy Medical since then. I work part time every other weekend third shift. Kris and I got married January 1995 and have a daughter Morgan 13 and a son Collin 11.
Morgan is at Taft and Collin will be there next school year. During the week I volunteer at the kids' school and take care of things at home. Kris puts in a lot of hours working at Duane Arnold. Sports, scouts and friends keep the kids running and I am the driver.
We love to camp in the summer and the whole family is addicted to traveling. I am always planning our next trip and look forward to my summer girls trip to Vegas. (Yes what happens in Vegas stays there. )
All of our siblings and parents still live in the area so we spend a lot of time with family. Kris is my best friend and we have a great life together. The kids haven't given any trouble yet and we are both amazed and are keeping our fingers crossed that they will continue to be healthy, happy, wonderful people. Life is good!!! |
